Salisbury Cathedral

The magnificent and historic Salisbury Cathedral is located in the city centre of Salisbury. It hosts over 500,000 visitors every year, with people travelling far and wide to experience it for themselves. Cathedral views can be seen from St Anns Forge and the stunning building is only a few minutes walk away. The Cathedral and its grounds provide a spectacular stage for some major events, concerts and exhibitions, as well as offering a tranquil place for prayer, reflection and relaxation.

The Cathedral is open to everyone, with a variety of guides and tours available throughout the year. This includes the popular guided tower tour, allowing visitors to climb the 332 steps to the base of the tallest spire in Britain, which stands an impressive 225ft above ground level.

The Cathedral gates are situated at the end of the road, just a few minutes walk from St Anns Forge.
